During the first half of the 20th century, the laboratory of the Hintz pharmacy was located on the ground flood, allowing pharmacists easy access. The location of the lab during the 18th and 19th century remains unclear. We chose to display in the basement the lot of tools and pieces of equipment used in the production of medicines, grouped according to functional criteria: tools for grounding and chopping (mainly mortars), equipment for distillation (alembic and retorts), artifacts for hot processing (crucibles, pans, pots) and those for cold processing (percolator).
