This basement room is dedicated to education activities. If we are not busy making soaps and perfumes, gilding pills, or distilling the Elixir of Love, we invite you in to experiment the old apothecary processes, starting with the grinding of ingredients.
The front wall preserves two reused stone carved elements: a medieval niche and part of a Roman inscription, interestingly enough dedicated to the god of healing, Aesculapius.
