Funerary stele; place of discovery: Ampelum (Pătrângeni, Zlatna, Alba County); 2nd - 3rd century AD.
Profiled funerary stele, with its recess shaped like a horseshoe(?). Inside it, we can partially notice two busts. The deceased – Syrillio, lived to be 78 years old. The monument is ordered by Liberalis, Libert and Aelia Victoria, for their father. Syrillio was the custodian of a temple, sanctuary or a public building in Ampelum. His name is of Syrian origin.
