Funerary stele; place of discovery: Gilău (Cluj County); 2nd - 3rd century AD.

Profiled funerary stele. In the upper part, there is a semicircular niche in which the medallion containing the image of the deceased is depicted, and just below it, we see the funerary inscription. The deceased are Titus Aelius Vet(---) and Titus Aelius Paulus, veterans of Ala Siliana, and the inscription is ordered by Valerius Festivus. According to the gentilic of the names from the inscription and the shape of the letters, the piece can be dated to the middle of the 2nd century.
