Funerary statuary group representing a mother and a little girl, placed on a postament. The matron belongs to a hybrid type, a local variant resulting from the combination of the ‘Piccola Ercolanese’ and the ‘palliata’ types. The hairstyle is specific to Julia Domna. The back of the statue has been flattened with the garden, but the sides, especially the lower area, are well finished. The piece was probably placed in funerary construction.
