Funerary stele; place of discovery: Ampelum (Pătrângeni, Zlatna, Alba County); 2nd - 3rd century AD.
Profiled funerary stele. On the upper part, the reliefs of two lions can be seen. In a rectangular niche, the image of a man is portrayed, standing up, wearing a short robe and cloak, while holding a thyrsus and a corona.
The deceased, Sossia Sabina, lived 26 years, of which 11 years and 10 months she was married to Fuscinus. The deceased has Roman anthroponymy, so she also had civitas Romana, while her husband, a high finance clerk, was an imperial slave. He has no Roman cognomen.
