Lateral piece of a funerary aedicula, place of discovery: unknown, 2nd - 3rd century AD.
The right side of a funerary aedicula, with both its sides decorated. On the inner part of the piece, we see a horseman, facing right, and the horse walking. The lower part of the relief is missing. On the outer side, there is a rudimentary depiction of 2 characters wearing helmets (?). The one on the left is holding, in his bent arm, a pugio that he points to the other character. The one on the right points an unidentifiable weapon to the other character’s neck. It seems to be a fighting scene between 2 gladiators, depicted in a very crude manner.
