The upper register depicts a nude, adolescent Dionysus holding a small vessel in the left hand. A panther is depicted at the god’s feet, with a hard-to-identify object beneath the animal’s front paws. The background is decorated with vines and bunches of grapes. The lower register shows Hercules and Mercurius. The nude Hercules is leaning with his left hand on his club, while his right hand is behind his back. A quiver of arrows can be seen above his right shoulder, and a bow is depicted behind him. Mercurius wears a tunic and a cloak, has the petasos on his head, the purse in his right hand and the caduceus in his left.
