Lateral piece of a funerary aedicula, place of discovery: Gârbău (Cluj County), 2nd century AD.
The left side of a funerary aedicula, sculpted on both sides. Its right margin is not polished, as it was the attachment point to the central piece. On the inner side, a feminine character is depicted standing up, holding a cup in the right hand and an unidentified object in the left one. On the outer side, a funerary genius (genius funerarius) is portrayed, leaning on its torch, that he holds with the flame facing downwards.
