Sarcophagus made by reusing other funerary monuments; place of discovery: Napoca (Cluj-Napoca); the original monuments are dated in the 2nd - 3rd century AD, and the repurposing is dated in the 3rd - 4th century AD.

The sarcophagus is made out of a left side wall of an aedicula, cut to the dimensions of the box, the length of which it exceeded. The skeleton of a child was found inside, and only a few small iron nails were found as grave goods.

The aedicula wall used as a lid is decorated in two registers. In the upper one, the body of a woman is still partially visible, and a snake can be seen on her left. The lower register has an image of Attis.

The monolithic sarcophagus box is made out of a block that gives the impression that it was originally intended for a different purpose, which explains the bevelling of the two edges of one of the long sides.
